Adjoining the Dedo de Dios beach is the gravel beach of Las Nieves beside the old pier of Agaete.
Puerto de las Nieves is a tranquil and traditional Canarian fishing village which gives one of the best examples of Canarian life.
Agaete is a coastal town in the north west of Gran Canaria. Here, the "Dedo de Dios" (God's Finger), a rock formation similar to the 12 apostles in Australia can be seen sticking up out of the sea, near the port from which "Fred Olsen" Jet foils leave for Tenerife.
