Arguineguin

Arguineguin is a small fishing town with a narrow beach, covered in black sand. We arrived there just in time for the sunset, as you can see, and found it a quiet, peaceful spot. But in the daytime, it becomes a busy resort, especially popular with the German tourists.

The sea front isn't overly developed and has managed to retain its character, with a wide selection of restaurants, shops and bars along the roadside. There is a promenade, which runs from here to the beach at Patalavaca.

Market day is Tuesday, when things get really busy. Ferry trips run to and from Arguineguin, linking with Puerto Rico or Puerto Mogan.
