Moleno de Viento

This beautiful windmill is by the side of the road to Mogan, which leads north from Puerto de Mogan. We had driven past it a couple of times before we decided to stop for a photo.

We said hello to the local elderly men, sitting around the windmill and were invited to look inside the renovated building. They were delighted that we took an interest in their beautiful village meeting spot.

That's when we discovered the fabulous gardens around the windmill. Huge sculptures are hiding amongst the cacti. Imagine a giant's tea party. There is an enormous cooking stove, coffee pot and coffee cup here. It quite made our day.
