Mundo Aborigen This little place is well worth a visit. It is situated in truly beautiful countryside, overlooking a huge gorge, the Barranco de Fataga. Mundo Aborigen is a reconstructed Guanche village, set out to depict the way of life of the native Guanche people, before the Spanish settled here. You can wander around the site, following a trail and see recreations of all aspects of ancient village life, all with the backdrop of spectacular mountain views. For those of you who are missing your canine friends whilst on holiday, there is also the opportunity to take a dog for a walk with you while you wander around. Ours was seriously cute.
