Patalavaca Beach
Patalavaca is a lovely beach. Small, flat, fairly quiet when we visited, but it was late afternoon, so maybe everyone had gone home. It seems to be a good base for those who want a quiet, relaxing place to stay, yet still stay within reach of the more vibrant nightlife of the island, since it is only ten minutes from Puerto Rico.

The beach has sun beds, bars and cafes and is fringed by high rise hotels and apartment buildings. You can take boat trips along the coast from the harbour.
