Pozo Izquierdo

This is the place to go if you are either a dedicated windsurfer or you want to watch someone who is. It is not a place for the family beach holiday.
The water here is not safe for swimming, with huge waves and strong winds. The beach is stony, with no shelter whatsoever.


Pozo is really geared up for windsurfing, with purpose built spectator seating. It is also described as a kitebeach, though I'm not sure what that is...


For those of you who understand these things, you may be fascinated to know that Pozo has fairly consistent surf, with the best waves in autumn and winter. It has groundswells and wind swells and the beach breaks offer right handers.
Double dutch to me but I'm sure someone out there understand this perfectly. Enjoy.
