The sublime contrast of the Neo-Classical architecture of the Las Burras shopping centre pushes one to wax lyrical upon the juxtaposition of attractions, all tempting and simultaneously assaulting the senses.

Climb ever skywards up the wide stairways, or take the mechanised elevator to be swept towards the heavens from the Victoria Car hire office, where Roger lazily swats a fly against a slightly faded, laminated photograph of a 1997 Fiat Punto.

Greeted by the mesmerising rotation of the globe atop the Skylon, bearing the flags of many nations, the long shadows of the rooftop satellite dishes cast playful shadows underfoot on the polished ceramic tiles. Another world.
