Bahia is a small, quiet resort and is popular with the windsurfing crowd. The beach slopes quite steeply and is not suitable for young children, due to the strong tides.
As the photos show, there is little sand, mainly stones and black pebbles. There is a windsurfing club here, called Club Mistral.
It is situated at Playa de Tarajillo. There is a pleasant, quiet ÒCanarian VillageÓ bazaar with small shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, but donÕt go here if you are looking for a party atmosphere and lively nightlife. If thatÕs what youÕre after, try Playa del Ingles or Maspalomas, both of which are a short cab ride down the road.
