Bahia Beach is located just to the east of San Augustin and is a very beautiful stretch of coastline to visit. Despite not being as suitable for sunbathing as many of the other beaches on the south coast, Bahia Beach is nevertheless very picturesque and a great spot for an afternoon or evening stroll.
There are also many excellent Gran Canaria hotels and serviced apartments in this area; some visitors choose to stay here rather than in the busier and noisier resorts of the south coast. This is a spot you can visit for a little more peace and quiet and a bite to eat in one of the excellent restaurants and cafes available.
