This shot has been taken from where the two resorts of Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles meet. This stretch of beach is the largest and most popular on the entire island of Gran Canaria and for good reason.
As you can see, the beach is covered in beautiful golden sand and there is an abundance of room for everyone. On one side of the photo you can see the famous El Faro de Maspalomas lighthouse, one of the most recognisable buildings in the area.
Many of the hotels along the beach have direct access onto the sand, meaning you can literally step out onto the beach in the morning. With such beautiful weather to enjoy, this is what a Gran Canaria holiday is all about.
