This spectacular viewpoint is one of many on the road from the busy tourist resorts of the south coast to Agaete in the west. The countryside is stunning. You drive through massive mountains, which drop almost vertically to the sea.
The roads are very, very steep, but well made and well used. Watch out for the cyclists. We couldn't believe how many we came across. How do they do it? These mountain roads are horrendous. I'd be getting off my bike to push at the bottom, but these guys (and girls) are super human. Still, there has to be an easier way of working off those extra pounds!
