Just along the coast from Puerto Mogan is the Playa Taurito; another excellent beach resort on Gran Canaria. This is another picturesque holiday destination for those looking to enjoy the beach during the day, and relax in the bars and restaurants in the evening.
This is not a crowded lively nightlife resort (look at the photo - this is early evening) but more of a beach resort designed for a relaxing family holiday for those with young children.
The beautiful evening sunsets make for a lovely way to end the day; safe in the knowledge that with the Canary Islands climate, another sunny day will come tomorrow.
Virtually all of the apartments and hotels in the Playa Taurito resort face the sea and give wonderful views of the beach and promenade. If this great shot doesn't make you want to go on holiday, nothing will!
