Puerto Mogan is a popular resort on the south-west coast of Gran Canaria. It is also one of the most striking and beautiful of all, with gorgeous blue seas and an impressive coastline.
Puerto Mogan is a little bit more chilled out than very busy tourist areas such as Playa del Ingles and is known for leisurely activities such as fishing, as much as it is for the excellent sunbathing areas.
The old village style of building mean it is also very attractive and apperas steeped in character to make for a more cultured break from the beach. You may be surprised that most of what you see is built on land reclaimed from the sea far more recently than you may have thought.
The beach itself is lined with many Gran Canaria hotels and has all of the facilities and features you would hope to find such as sun lounges and parasols.
