Salinetas Beach is very popular with tourists staying on the east coast of Gran Canaria. This beach and many others in the area serve the largest nearby town of Telde, about 10 minutes away by car or bus. Of course, hotels, serviced apartments and other forms of accommodation are available literally right on the beachfront, as you can see in the photo.
There is plenty of room for everyone on this Gran Canaria beach and just back from the seafront, there are plenty of entertainment areas as well as great places to eat and shops in which to look for souvenirs. Just along the coast to the north are plenty of smaller beaches and alcoves to explore.
