Chapter 254 Young Master
Chapter 254 Young Master
"I live here." The woman replied, "Sir, where are you from?"
"I..." Chu Tian was about to tell his origins, but suddenly remembered the White Crane Taoist's warning not to easily reveal one's identity to strangers. So he changed his words and said, "I was traveling around and happened to pass by here."
"I see." The woman nodded. "Sir, my name is Xuelian, what's yours?"
"My name is Chu Tian."
"Master Chutian." Xuelian smiled slightly, "You must be tired after traveling all the way. Why don't you take a rest in my little house?"
Chu Tian readily agreed and followed Xuelian to an exquisite wooden house. The wooden house was elegantly decorated and full of a warm atmosphere.
Xuelian brewed a cup of fragrant tea for Chu Tian. Chu Tian sipped the tea while admiring the surrounding scenery.
"Mr. Chu Tian, when did you start practicing martial arts?" Xuelian asked.
"I..." Chu Tian hesitated for a moment, but decided to hide his true situation. "I have loved wielding swords and guns since I was a child. Later, I became a disciple of a master and learned some martial arts."
"I see." Xuelian nodded, "Master Chu Tian, your swordsmanship must be very powerful, right?"
"It's okay." Chu Tian said modestly.
"Mr. Chu Tian, can you demonstrate your swordsmanship to me?" Xuelian's eyes were full of anticipation.
Chu Tian thought about it and agreed to Xuelian's request. He walked outside, drew his sword, and began to practice the Snow Mountain Sword Technique.
The Snow Mountain Sword Technique is light and graceful, with unpredictable changes. Under Chu Tian's interpretation, it becomes even more powerful.
Xuelian watched intently from the side, her eyes full of admiration.
After Chu Tian finished practicing his sword skills, Xuelian couldn't help but applaud and cheer: "Master Chu Tian, your sword skills are amazing!"
Chu Tian put away his sword and said modestly: "It's just a trivial skill, not worth mentioning."
"Mr. Chu Tian, you are too modest." Xue Lian said, "Your swordsmanship is so exquisite, I guess your master must be a hermit, right?"
"Yes." Chu Tian nodded, "My master is a master who lives in seclusion deep in the snow-capped mountains."
"I see." Xuelian nodded, "Mr. Chu Tian, you are so lucky to have such a great master as your teacher."
Chu Tian smiled and said nothing.
The two chatted for a while, and then Chu Tian stood up and said goodbye.
"Miss Xuelian, thank you for your hospitality. I should leave now."
"Mr. Chu Tian, are you leaving so soon?" Xuelian was a little reluctant.
"Yes, I still have things to do." Chu Tian said.
"Okay then." Xuelian nodded, "Young Master Chutian, see you later."
"See you later."
Chu Tian left the valley and continued his adventure.
What he didn't know was that after he left, a cunning light flashed in Xuelian's eyes.
"Chu Tian, you can't escape from my grasp."
Chu Tian continued to trek through the snow-capped mountains. He found that the scenery here was becoming more and more peculiar, with all kinds of exotic flowers and plants, rare birds and animals appearing one after another.
One day, he came to a steep cliff covered with strange vines. These vines gave off a faint fragrance that made people intoxicated.
Chu Tian walked forward curiously and reached out to pick a vine.
At this moment, a sudden change occurred!
The vines on the cliff suddenly came alive and coiled towards Chu Tian like poisonous snakes!
Chu Tian was shocked and quickly swung his sword to cut the vines.
However, these vines were extremely tenacious. After being cut off, they quickly grew out again and continued to move towards Chu Tian.
More and more vines were entwined, rushing towards Chu Tian like a tide. Chu Tian swung his sword, the sword light flashed, and cut off the vines one by one. But these vines seemed endless. When one was cut off, two would grow immediately.
Chu Tian gradually felt exhausted, his breathing became rapid, and beads of sweat appeared on his forehead.
"Damn it!" Chu Tian cursed inwardly. He knew that this was not a solution.
He had to find a way to get rid of these vines.
Chu Tian looked around and found a protruding rock on the cliff.
With a thought in his mind, he leaped and jumped onto the rock.
The vines lost their target and began to droop down.
Chu Tian breathed a sigh of relief, finally he was safe temporarily.
He stood on the rock and observed the vines carefully.
These vines are green all over, exuding a faint fragrance, and look very tempting.
But Chu Tian knew that these vines were definitely not good people.
He had once seen a record about this vine in an ancient book.
This vine is called "Soul-Entangled Vine" and is an extremely dangerous plant.
They emit a special fragrance to confuse their prey, then wrap their vines around the prey and suck its blood dry.
Chu Tian secretly felt lucky that he was not entangled by these vines.
He drew out his sword, ready to cut all the vines.
Just then, he suddenly heard a voice coming from the cliff.
"stop!"
Chu Tian looked in the direction of the voice and saw a woman in white standing on the cliff, looking at him coldly.
This woman has a beautiful appearance and an extraordinary temperament, like a fairy from heaven.
Chu Tian's heart moved. Who is this woman?
"Who are you?" Chu Tian asked.
"I am the guardian of this place." The woman in white said coldly, "Why are you destroying the plants here?"
"I just want to pick a vine." Chu Tian explained.
"The plants here are all spiritual. You can't destroy them at will." said the woman in white.
"I understand." Chu Tian nodded, "I won't destroy the plants here anymore."
"Go away." said the woman in white.
Chu Tian hesitated for a moment and said, "Miss, what is your name?"
"My name is Xueling." said the woman in white.
"Miss Xueling, thank you for your reminder." Chu Tian said, "See you later."
After Chu Tian finished speaking, he turned and left the cliff.
Xueling looked at Chu Tian's departing back, and a complicated look flashed in her eyes.
After Chu Tian left the cliff, he continued to trek through the snow-capped mountains.
He found that the scenery here was becoming more and more peculiar, with all kinds of exotic flowers and plants, rare birds and animals appearing one after another.
One day, he came to a valley that was filled with thick fog, making it impossible to see the surrounding scenery clearly.
Chu Tian walked into the valley carefully, and he found an ancient temple in the valley.
There is a plaque hanging at the entrance of the temple with the words "Snow Temple" inscribed on it.
Chu Tian's heart moved. Could this be the residence of the Snow God?
He walked into the temple curiously. The temple was empty except for a huge statue of the snow god.
The statue of the Snow God is lifelike, as if it would come alive at any moment.
Chu Tian walked up to the statue of the Snow God and bowed respectfully.
Just then, he suddenly heard a voice coming from behind him.
"who are you?"
