Chapter 639: Everyone But Atlas
Chapter 639: Everyone But Atlas
Rachel looked at Garion for a moment, then asked, "Garion, how strong are you now?"
Atlas immediately looked at Garion as well.
[Yeah. I want to know that too.]
Garion grinned and leaned back slightly. "Well, if you want to know, unfortunately, we can’t test it through fighting."
Atlas narrowed his eyes.
[Why not?]
Garion’s grin immediately widened. "Because I’m not in the Awakening Realm anymore. I’ve become a Star Realm being."
The room instantly became silent.
Both Rachel and Atlas froze after hearing those words.
[You already became Star Realm?]
Garion nodded. "Yeah. Got a problem with that? Isn’t it good that I became one this fast?"
Rachel nodded slowly, but before she could say anything, Atlas floated closer and circled around Garion once, looking at him from head to toe.
[It’s not like that. I’m just surprised. How the hell did you suddenly become a Star Realm creature?]
Garion shrugged. "The [Divine Pod] rebuilt my body, mana, and soul at the same time. It also fused my body with the [Divine Relic] foundation. That process basically completed the condition Rovak mentioned before."
He tapped his chest. "Body, mana, and soul resonating together with cosmic energy."
Atlas frowned deeply.
[So the [Divine Pod] didn’t just rebuild your body. It pushed your existence into Star Realm.]
Garion snapped his fingers. "Exactly."
Rachel looked at him with complicated eyes. "So that means you really succeeded."
Garion smiled at her. "Of course. I already told Atlas about it previously, and I also told you I’d be back, right?"
Rachel sighed softly, then smiled helplessly. "You did."
Atlas crossed his arms.
[This is ridiculous. You skipped the normal process completely.]
Garion laughed. "What can I say? I’m a genius at creating cultivation methods."
[No. You’re a lucky bastard.]
"Same thing."
[No, it’s not.]
Rachel ignored their argument and slowly looked toward the direction of the hidden library before turning back to Garion. "What about me...?"
Garion turned to her. "You?"
Rachel looked back at him. "Can I also enter the [Divine Pod] and transform my body to fuse with a [Divine Relic]?"
Garion’s expression became more serious.
Atlas immediately frowned.
[Rachel.]
Rachel shook her head gently. "I know. It’s dangerous."
She looked at Garion and continued, "But if this path really works, then I don’t want to stay behind."
Garion stared at her for a moment before his grin slowly returned, but this time, it was softer. "I know."
Rachel smiled.
Garion reached out and held her hand. "But we won’t rush it tonight. I need to understand my new body first, and we need to make sure the [Divine Pod] can still be used safely."
Atlas nodded.
[For once, that actually sounds reasonable.]
Garion glanced at him. "Why do you sound surprised?"
[Because it came from you.]
Garion ignored him and looked back at Rachel. "Let’s test it tomorrow."
Rachel nodded calmly. "Tomorrow, then."
Atlas sighed and looked between them.
[This family is insane.]
Garion grinned.
Rachel smiled gently.
---
The next day, Garion, Rachel, and Atlas returned to the hidden library.
The [Divine Pod] stood quietly in the center of the space, its white-gold surface glowing faintly, like it was patiently waiting for the next person.
Rachel stood in front of it and looked at the pod in silence. Although her expression was calm, her eyes were serious.
Garion stood beside her and asked softly, "Do you remember and understand what I told you last night?"
Rachel nodded. "Yes."
Atlas immediately floated closer.
[Hey, what? What did you tell her last night?]
Garion only grinned.
Atlas frowned.
[Damn it. Not telling me again?]
Garion ignored him and looked at Rachel. "Are you ready?"
Rachel took a slow breath and nodded gently. "I’m ready, Garion."
Garion stared at her for a moment, and his shameless grin slowly disappeared. "Rachel... make sure you come back."
Rachel nodded. "I know."
Atlas crossed his arms, but for once, he did not joke.
Garion walked behind Rachel.
Rachel closed her eyes. There was no fear on her face, only trust.
The next instant, Garion raised one hand and struck the back of her neck with perfect control.
TAP.
The force was precise and strong enough to kill Rachel in one hit, resulting in a painless death.
Garion caught her before she fell and held her carefully in his arms. Then he gently placed her body inside the divine pod.
The pod immediately reacted.
WOOOM!
Pink-gold light spread across the crystal surface, mixing with the pod’s divine patterns.
Garion watched closely.
Atlas floated beside him.
[The energy flow is stable.]
Garion nodded. "Good."
Just then, a new screen appeared above the [Divine Pod].
[Divine Pod Activated]
[Owner Soul Detected: Rachel]
[Compatible Designer Nearby: Garion]
[Do you want to enter Divine Pod as Designer?]
Both Garion and Atlas froze.
For a moment, they could only stare at the screen.
Garion pointed at himself. "Wait... I can do this?"
Atlas’s eyes widened.
[Apparently.]
Garion’s grin slowly returned. "Ohhh..."
Atlas immediately looked at him.
[Don’t make that face.]
Garion laughed softly. "This means I can help design Rachel’s [Divine Relic]."
Atlas frowned.
[Or it means you’re about to get dragged into another strange Creator program.]
Garion shrugged. "Same thing."
Atlas quickly reached out.
[Hold on. Let me check...]
But Garion had already raised his hand, his grin turning shameless again.
Atlas’s eyes widened.
[Garion, don’t you dare...]
CLICK.
Too late.
The screen flashed brightly.
[Designer Entry Accepted]
The light around the pod suddenly expanded.
WOOOM!
Garion’s body turned into a stream of purple-black light and disappeared directly into the [Divine Pod].
The light faded.
The library became silent again.
Only Atlas was left floating there, one hand still stretched toward the pod.
For a few seconds, he did not move.
Then his eye twitched.
[...Seriously?]
He slowly turned toward the glowing [Divine Pod], his expression darkening more and more.
[So he gets to enter. Rachel gets to transform. Everyone gets some mysterious Creator upgrade...]
Atlas pointed at himself.
[But me? I’m left outside like some damn door guard?]
The pod gave no answer.
Atlas clenched his tiny fists and shouted at it.
[Damn it, why the hell can’t I join too?!]
