Chapter 73 Attack
Chapter 73 Attack
There weren't many words in the book, but Su Yue didn't recognize some of them. She had read it several times, and now she could understand most of the content by guessing and inferring.
The book describes precisely this space she possesses. It turns out this space is no ordinary space; it can receive the gratitude and blessings of others to elevate itself.
Anyone whose owner has helped this space, even if that person only felt gratitude in their heart for a fleeting moment, can have that space absorbed.
Within this space, the master of the space can be called a god, but the space is currently too weak and needs to be upgraded.
Perhaps when this space is upgraded to be large enough and has enough energy, it can take its owner away from where it is, and maybe even return to the modern world.
This made Su Yue very happy; she never expected that she would have the chance to return to the modern world.
She was really looking forward to it, wondering if the space was going to be upgraded again since it was inaccessible this time. Last time it only lasted two days, but she wondered how many days it would last this time.
Su Yue wasn't too worried about this. After all, it would take three days to get to the capital by official road on a clear day, let alone with the snow so thick, it would take at least five or six days.
It seems this snow disaster is nationwide. I have a feeling that this dynasty has been abandoned by the so-called Heavenly Way, otherwise why would it suffer so many disasters?
Shen Lerong told me that the emperor of this dynasty seemed to have quite a few sons, seven or eight of whom were still alive, and many more who had died.
Don't say that the old emperor was quite fertile, no, it's more accurate to say that all the women in his harem were quite fertile.
I really want to meet this old emperor. If I manage to revive him, I wonder if it would be feasible to ask to visit his treasury.
I really want to visit the treasury of a dynasty; there must be so many wonderful things inside.
I wonder how it compares to the various museums in the flower industry.
Su Yue's mind had long since wandered off until the sled car stopped to change passengers, at which point she came back to her senses.
It was only then that Su Yue learned that the person who had been replaced was named Mo Wu.
"Your name is Mo Wu, and his name is Mo Liu. So, are there Mo Yi, Mo Er, Mo San, Mo Si, Mo Qi, Mo Ba, and so on up to Mo Ji?" Su Yue asked curiously.
The Second Prince has so many men under his command. If they were all ranked like this, wouldn't it be possible to reach the ranks of Mo Yiqian and Mo Yiwan?
If someone is 250, would they be called "Mo 250"?
Su Yue stared at Mo Wu, who had just come up, with bright eyes and asked a question. Mo Liu, who hadn't had time to close the door yet, almost burst out laughing when he heard this.
I don't know if this girl is stupid, how could just anyone have a number in line?
“This… young lady, Mo is just a code name; the numbers after it represent his abilities,” Mo Wu replied after seeing Mu Yuhe nod.
"Oh, I know. It means whoever is the most powerful will be ranked higher. Mo Mo Wu and Mo Liu are just your code names, not your real names." Su Yue understood.
"Yes." Mo Wu sat in the original seat of Mo Liu and naturally took the small clip from Mo Liu's hand.
But his hands were so frozen that he couldn't hold the small clips properly.
Su Yue refilled the teapot with water and put it on the stove to boil.
He then took out a large bag of beef buns from the cloth bag and put them on the fire to roast.
The steamed buns sizzled and popped on the fire, filling the air with their aroma. Su Yue heard the stomachs of the two people opposite her growl, and Mo Wu couldn't help but swallow.
Mu Yuhe gave Su Yue an embarrassed smile, realizing how utterly inappropriate he had been.
They were clearly starving. From the time I saw the Second Prince Mu Yuhe and his group this morning until now, it's almost dark, and they haven't eaten a single bite of dry rations. No wonder.
Su Yue divided the baked buns between the two of them and left two for Mo Liu, who was driving the carriage outside.
Actually, two steamed buns are nothing to someone like Mo Wu who needs to expend a lot of energy; he can eat one in a bite or two.
Perhaps afraid of scaring the little girl, I didn't eat the fist-sized bun in four bites as usual, which was a bit unusual.
Once the chill on her body dissipated somewhat from the warmth of the carriage, Mo Wu proactively helped Su Yue peel melon seeds and peanuts, and thoughtfully covered her with the rabbit-shaped blanket that had fallen off.
After all, it's so cold outside, and this young girl could have been comfortably lying indoors. Now she has to go to Kyoto with them to rescue people.
This time, Su Yue and Mu Yuhe didn't stop at the inn until it was getting late.
Su Yue got out of the car and stretched her limbs, while Mo Wu silently followed behind her.
Upon entering the post station, a person came to greet them. Mo Wu took out a token from his pocket, and the person led them directly to a room on the second floor.
The prince is different from ordinary people; his status is always useful, no matter the time.
Soon, a waiter brought Su Yue's food into the room: a bowl of white rice and a plate of stir-fried chicken. That was it.
At this point, it's already very good that we can still have this to eat.
Mu Yuhe lived next door to Su Yue, and Mo Wu was guarding the door.
Su Yue wasn't worried at all. Apart from the hard bed board, the mattress and the blankets were all her own, so it was warm enough for her to sleep on.
In the middle of the night, Su Yue was awakened by a commotion.
She pushed open the door to check and found a group of men in black attacking and fighting with Mo Liu.
Mo Liu moved with agility, weaving through the crowd of men in black like a ghost. The short sword in his hand gleamed coldly, each swing carrying a sharp and fierce aura.
The men in black pounced on Mo Liu like hungry wolves, their moves ruthless and their coordination impeccable. Mo Liu, however, showed no fear. He dodged a fierce punch to the side and, in the process, thrust his short sword at the throat of another man in black.
However, the men in black were no pushovers either; they reacted swiftly, dodging Mo Liu's attacks. A fierce battle ensued.
Mo Liu's eyes shone with determination and resolve; he knew he could not back down in the slightest. He constantly changed his moves, searching for the man in black's weakness.
Finally, he found an opportunity. He leaped up and drew an arc in the air with his short sword, accurately stabbing a man in black in the chest.
The man in black screamed and collapsed to the ground. Seeing this, the other men in black attacked Mo Liu even more frantically.
Mo Liu gritted his teeth and fought back with all his might. He was already injured in many places, but he still persisted.
Meanwhile, Mo Wu was also locked in a fierce battle with several men in black. He was agile and his moves were sharp, each one carrying a deadly threat.
However, his heart was always with the Second Prince, Mu Yuhe, behind him. He knew that he had to protect his master, or the consequences would be unimaginable.
While dealing with the men in black, Mo Wu kept an eye on Mu Yuhe's safety. His eyes revealed determination and resolve.
Suddenly, taking advantage of Mo Wu's unpreparedness, a man in black swung his sword at Mu Yuhe, who was fighting with another man in black.
Mo Wu reacted swiftly, dodging the sword with his own body. The blade grazed his shoulder, and blood gushed out, but he did not flinch.
He gritted his teeth, swung his sword backhand, and forced the man in black back. Then, he quickly turned around and continued the fierce battle with the other men in black.
