Chapter 924: Marriage of a God and a Goddess
Chapter 924: Marriage of a God and a Goddess
When Lawrend and Reavire reappeared, the two of them were wearing their wedding clothing.
Reavire wore a fancy dress made of her own Will. When one looked carefully, they would find out that the threads were from their millions of years of life in the other universe.
She had given them form.
Lawrend’s black suit formed something similar, but it was also different. It was made from his own maid energy, and they made the black and white color of his wedding suit.
For the God and Goddess at this moment, this wedding was merely a formality, a sort of ritual in this universe. In their minds, they had already been married before in another life.
However since those two clones of their were also still alive, they were also technically no longer them. They had taken a copy of their memories, but those two never realized they were from another universe.
Thus, it was important for the two of them to marry in this universe as well. Otherwise, they would always feel that something was missing in their union.
"Master..."
"Oh?"
Lawrend perked his ears up after hearing her call him that.
"Are you ready to get married?" she asked.
"I’ve been waiting," Lawrend replied with a gentle smile.
"Really? You were just fucking your other women, though?" Reavire blinked.
"You’re beautiful in that dress."
"Yes..." Her eyes took the shape of hearts.
"Let’s get married?"
"Yes!"
The two of them walked together along the aisle. The Heaven Mage of the Human World was in attendance. He watched them walk with a slight smile. He had once dreamed of marrying the Goddess, but he had already made peace with it.
His emotions were riled up seeing her so happy, and it was the only reason he couldn’t smile as genuinely.
"Wish you the best, my Goddess."
When the two reached the altar, the priest visibly sweated bullets as he officiated the wedding. He thought he had gotten used to officiating these marriages of Lawrend, but when he looked at the Goddess, he felt a strong feeling of invasion to his mind.
Seeing her made all of his bodily instincts act up, and it was taking his all to suppress them.
Lawrend noticed it but didn’t help him.
It was mean, but it was tough love. Lawrend didn’t really know this priest since they just assumed this position since they assumed he was some sort of a god before he became one.
He wanted them to become strong so that when he leaves, the religion would do well. If it did, it would also help Lawrend a little.
"You may now... kiss the b-bride!" he said with much difficulty.
Lawrend leaned down to kiss Reavire. She had her eyes closed and gave him full control.
As he pressed himself against her soft lips, Lawrend couldn’t help but remember their memories in that other universe.
"We don’t need them anymore, right?" Lawrend asked after they separated.
"I think so too."
The two closed their eyes and they locked up those memories from another universe. After that, the way they looked at each other changed. It became more genuine and full of love.
Those memories had bridged the gap between them, but it had also alienated them from each other. Only by locking it up were they able to truly love each other for who they were now.
"I love you, Lawrend."
"I love you, too, Reavire."
Reavire tiptoed and kissed Lawrend again, this time on her own initiative.
After a bit, they separated. The crowd watching them were full of smiles.
Seeing two gods marry was a one of a kind experience that was so rare, they would all be blessed simply by being witnesses.
"Thank you all!" Lawrend shouted.
He held Reavire’s hand and vanished along with her.
When they reappeared, they were surrounded by gigantic vortexes of maid energy in every direction numbering in infinity.
They were inside of his young universe, a proto universe to be exact. All he needed was to step out of his current universe for it to fully transform, and he would reach a level beyond a simple God.
"This is insane..." Reavire whispered as she looked all around her. She could feel the powerful energy raging. They wanted to form planets, stars, and galaxies, but they couldn’t because of the pressure exerted by the universe Lawrend currently lived in.
If he tried to force it, the two universes would collide, and the Creator promised that he would kill Lawrend before he could succeed, obviously to protect his own universe.
A whirlpool of maid energy formed around Lawrend. He sucked up the nearby vortexes and refilled his reserves. They seemed to form a new proto galaxy around him.
Reavire sensed the powerful concentration of maid energy that Lawrend absorbed, and it scared her. She was a Goddess, but the energy Lawrend’s proto universe contained were simply infinite.
She also could create her own infinite supply of her own energy, but it would never be as fast as Lawrend absorbed them from in here.
Truly, she had married a monster that was beyond words.
In just a few minutes, Lawrend absorbed 100x his normal maid energy level. His baby Pilara had managed to stretch and extend the amount of energy he could store five times.
This meant that he, as a God, could use 100x more energy as a new God in a single attack or defense. He didn’t need to use many small attacks to give himself time to recover his energy.
In other words, he was already unstoppable.
"Perhaps only a being beyond a Shattered God... a Flawed God can compare to me."
"The Creator is a Flawless God," Reavire reminded him.
"That is the scary part, hahaha." Lawrend laughed.
Although he felt safe inside of his proto universe, he didn’t know what kind of power level was a Flawless God. Could he look inside of his universe even if Lawrend didn’t want him to see inside?
Lawrend and Reavire were both Shattered Gods. Above that was Flawed God, and then the Creator was a Flawless God.
"What are we doing here?" Reavire asked, steering the topic.
"Hahaha. What else do you think?" Lawrend smiled whilst looking at her like a predator with his prey trapped.
