Chapter 846 Subdue-3

These two people were the Alain Wertheimer and his older brother Gerard Wertheimer who were having a meeting regarding the recent incident regard Samuel.

Despite Samuel giving his word that he wouldn't seek any retribution and giving out his condition, which was related to recent arrival of Raphael, they still thought it wasn't enough of a payment because Alain's son Nathaniel had threaten his life.

As a influencial family with a history spanning decades, both brothers knew that wealth was meaningless in front of actual power. They had to act cautious in certain scenarios to ensure their family's survival.

As they discussed what else they could do to put these things behind them, one of the executive said something along the line of enticing him with more benefits.

" Isn't it widely known that heir of Rothschild family is a renowned playboy? Even this incident was caused because of a bunch of models. We can pull some strings, it just happens that we are gathering such beautiful girls from around the world for the largest fashion week."

Gerard nodded feeling the plan was feasible, in this way they could ensure that Samuel wouldn't pressure them in the future since it could damage his reputation too.

" I already talked to his 'assistant' but she didn't reach out to me yet, probably because he is not so stupid to implicate himself so blatantly." Alain informed them about the talk he had with Lucie.

" Will he be present during the show?" Gerard asked again.

" I-i" Alaim didn't know what to say to him since he himself didn't dare to inquire about his itinerary.

If not how else would he able to gain good reputation in fashion circle, mingling with people from all walks of life easily. He valued his input unlike his actual father who only saw his negative side because he wanted him to live up to his expectations. It was a strange situation nonetheless, Nathaniel had already gasped both of their personalities ages ago. It was why he dared to speak up.

" It's simple. I don't care what sort of rumours are floating around abiut him but meeting him face to face even though I couldn't see his face, I know that he very much cares about people closest to him."

He went on to explain some embarrassing details about the situation knowing that it would paint him in bad light. He knew he was the one who provoked him unnecessarily even when Samuel gave him a change to escape.

He could have easily harmed him and even retaliated but Nathaniel clearly heard him talk about his father and his face. Hearing that Alain was the reason why his son didn't recieve any punishment made him feel complicated.

Alain did meet Samuel prior to this incident while attending George Armani's party. He even met his father and they were on cordial terms but now the future was uncertain.

" Everyone knows that the large mansion in the outskirt changed owners recently. I have solid knews from one of my friends in the government that it was acquired by him few months ago. They told me about the presence of five mysterious girls there, we can deduce that he invited them to come with him.

If he didn't care about them why would he take them with him?" He paused and looked at everyone's faves before continuing.

" I know he had a powerful family behind him but they never venture in fashion business, his appearance during this crucial week is also strange. The girls might have known him as they may have prior arrangements but seeing them outside the venue trying to get in, it is clear that they too are here to become models.

If he really want to make that happen, he had to rely on the fashion week to make connections."
