Chapter 674: Acquisition report-1

He got back home and saw Amanda did in fact called few more people to clean everything up. They were quietly switching up the furniture that's when he learned that everyone was still asleep.

Kayla and Hannah had no sign of waking up since they got full blown drunk last night. He didn't see Iblis since last night which meant she was resting too. Elise was also tired running around first thing in the morning so she was taking a rest.

But it was surprising to see Mayra and Adele still hunkered up in their room. He did ask Amanda but she said she didn't want to disturb them so she didn't know what they were up to. He walked inside the room to see they were sleeping too.

It was almost noon, so he found it a little odd. He decided to clean himself up with a nice shower first but he noticed that the room was littered with paw prints that Luna left behind. He decided to change sheets before hopping into shower. After which he dried himself before jumping between them to warm himself up.

" Sami?" He felt the bed rustle. They always seemed to know when he was around. Mayra immediately made her way toward him hugging him from the side.

" You are warm." She mumbled.

" I just had a bath. How come you guys are still sleeping? It's almost noon." He whispered pulling her closer to him.

" It doesn't look that clean to me though." he chuckled. He could still see Luna's white fur sticking out of the bedsheets.

" Mmmhh...you smell nice but I prefer the original." She nuzzled her head into his neck while resting her leg on top of his torso. His body was already warm from the hot shower but feeling her naked body felt akin to hugging a soft pillow.

" Me too." Adele whispered as she dragged herself closer to him. As Mayra was in the way, she pushed Samuel sideways sticking herself onto his back. He was being assaulted by fluffiness from both sides filling his mind with strange thoughts.

" Oh, look at how he is looking at us like he is going to do something."

" Don't forget we have four people here. We will squeeze you dry tonight!"

" Yeah we will see." He left the room as they continued to provoke him. He had always been a little soft of them but since they challenged him so openly he wasn't going to back down tonight. They might have signed their 'death' sentence along with Iblis and Kayla who weren't even here!

" You said you have something for me?" He walked in to see the office place being deserted. There was only few staffs at the reception room that told him beforehand that only Abigail and Manan were here.

Even Marilyn, Abigail's right hand woman didn't come to office today. It might have something to do with Andrew, his securities expert, they could have hit it off after his slight nudge few months ago putting another matchmaking success under his belt!

" I have all the documents ready in your office. Just start signing them first or you could check for it's-"

" It's fine. How many years have we known each other? I trust you beside I can glance and memorize most of it instantly." Others might get duped into signing something away but he wasn't one of them. There were just too many safeguards within him that prevented him from making any mistake. From his ill-intention radar to his photographic memory even if he wanted to unsee something he couldn't.

" Good, first I should let him report." They ended up in his office. Manan and Abigail too the seats in front of him with stacks of documents in their hand.

They began reporting while he kept doing his work. It was something he suggested outside the general meeting they had with everyone present. It saved a lot of time and if he had any questions, he could pause his work and ask them.
