Chapter 668: Wolves Whisperer?

Samuel knew he couldn't really reveal his powers in front of everyone but he was able to find a slim window while everyone was agitated to slightly bend the bullets downwards. He could faintly see their trajectory overloading his powers and put up his shields in front of Titan and Knight leaning it forward so that the bullets wouldn't fly in random direction.

There was more than one percent chance of it hitting someone which would only make things worse.

*ding* *ding* *ding*

Several bullets lodged themselves on the floor before they stopped firing. He jumped between the wolves and the guards yelling at both of them to stop.

" Y-young master.." The one that fired the bullet saw Samuel flicker in and out of air landing right in front of him.

" It's fine. Put down your weapon." He commanded again. They hesitantly lowered their weapons looking at wolves growling ferociously from behind Samuel.

" You guys too. Stop acting like that! I told you no one is going to hurt you!" He turned back and yelled at the wolves too. They growled for a moment but seeing no sudden movements they calmed down too but that didn't mean they let their guard down.

The ear shattering noise of bullet noise was enough to wake up the whole village. How could they not be surprised about it? Still Samuel was able to lowered the danger level from standoffish to on guard. Samuel first asked them to take a few steps back.

" Sir?" They reluctantly followed his orders. He decided to show them that their worries were unfounded.

" It's fine. They are nice behaving animals not that different from any ordinary dog. See? They don't even bite." Samuel grabbed Titan's head and even used his hand to show them his canines. It was bizarre because Titan was still looked scary while Samuel played around with his mouth showing them all sort of tricks.

By the end of it few of them wanted to just smack him in the head while the rest of them almost fainted seeing him play around with wild wolves like it was his pet dogs! What's more the wolves also seemed to go along with it without showing any signs of discomfort. They wasn't even sure if they were dreaming or it was real life!

" Do you want to touch it?" His question awoken them from their dream state.

" I-I don't.."

" Come on. Here. Get closer like this." Samuel began to drag on the guards with him taking him closer and closer to the pack. He struggled and tried to stop him using his big muscular body but he was being dragged around effortlessly like Samuel wasn't even aware of how scared he was.

" Y-young m-master...that..." She pointed at the wolves that neatly followed him. She still felt that she was either dreaming or the wolves were her imagination because how carefree Samuel was around them, like he didn't even worry about turning his back toward them!

" Right, you haven't seen them in person yet." He nonchalantly started introducing them to her. He would even ruffle their face revealing their sharp canines like it was some sort of joke. She was so terrified that she didn't even remember what he said to her.

All she remembered was falling down when he let one of them pass, a snow white wolf that was many times larger than any dog she had ever seen. The moment it touched her leg, she was so frightened that she screamed and fainted.

" Nicole!" Samuel did caught her. It was dangerous with so many sharp objects around, she could have gotten hurt.

He carried and laid her down on one of the empty recliners. All the wolves tried to surround her trying to see who this stranger was but Samuel exclaimed," Don't scare her more than you already did and you Luna, why do you have to run at her like that."

He started lecturing them like they were his children, they even showed him their long faces like they were sorry for what they did. After a strict lesson, he did pet them to let them know that it was okay but from now on they had to follow his lead.

" Young master....what the hell!" Amanda was the next victim but unlike Nicole that fainted instantly, she held on. She even manage to touch their heads under Samuel's supervision which surprisingly made her calm.

" They are impressive animals. So Luna is the leader?"

" Kind of, it's like she acts as glue that holds the pack together. This is Titan and Knight." He started introducing everyone to her. Her gentle smile was enough to make wolves docile around her. He had heard that wolves tend to favor women over men and it showed with how easily she was able to gain her trust.

They went through the whole ritual and she laughed throughout it, feeling ticklish as they tried to lick her mouth and hop on top of her. Samuel never thought that he who struggled so much facing them would become a bystander in front of an actual wolf whisperer!

" It's all good and all but what really happened here. I can see they thrashed the whole place and...this...don't tell me those are.." She could see several black holes on the floor. It was wood so bullet went straight through the carpet burning the area around it as they lodged themselves inside of it.

" It's a long story but first, Is there any of meat left?"

" Meat? I think there is a lot in the cold storage at the back. Are you going to feed them? Isn't that a bad thing?"

" I am sure it would be okay-"

" What the fuck!" They heard a scream from behind. It was a day of surprises.
